Hey Josh,
You got it wrong.

Hemingway used to tank on on absinthe (that green stuff you were holding up) and vermouth before he wrote.

If you check out “The Sun also rises”, “Absalom, Absalom” and some of his other works, you’ll find the protagonists chugging the stuff.

I don’t think he was much of a vodka dude. if anything, he’d go for whisky or bourbon too.
